Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype next-generation neural signal processing algorithms for low-latency BCI applications.
- Collaborate with neuroscientists to translate biological signals into actionable software commands.
- Maintain and optimize existing neural pipelines to ensure 99.9% uptime and data integrity.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in signal processing and deep learning.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure user safety, privacy, and efficacy of neural interfaces.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, neuroscience, and wearable technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on real-time systems or signal processing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) applied to biomedical data.
- Strong understanding of neural networks, signal amplification, and noise reduction techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
