Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security standards
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base
- Monitor system health and proactively resolve production incidents
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
