Responsibilities
- Design and deploy enterprise-grade network architectures (SD-WAN, Cloud Integration)
- Lead complex infrastructure upgrades and migrations for Fortune 500 clients
- Implement advanced security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust)
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct technical training sessions
- Optimize network performance using advanced monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Document network topology and create disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cloud teams for hybrid environment solutions
Qualifications
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certification required
- 5+ years experience with Cisco/Juniper enterprise networking
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Ansible)
- Experience with AWS/Azure network services
- CISSP or Security+ certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs for equipment installation
- Valid Maryland driver's license for site visits
