Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network topologies and infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, security breaches, and hardware failures.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Perform regular network audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with IT management to upgrade network capabilities.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff members.
- Ensure compliance with all company and industry security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and bandwidth analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
