Responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) to meet organizational needs.
- Monitor network performance, traffic, and security to ensure optimal uptime and data integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software network issues with minimal downtime.
- Manage and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols and firewalls to protect sensitive data.
- Conduct regular network audits and provide detailed reports on system status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support software deployments and cloud migrations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
