Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade LAN/WAN networks including Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Lead network migration projects while minimizing business disruption
- Document network architecture and troubleshoot complex connectivity issues
- Collaborate with cloud teams to integrate hybrid network solutions
- Maintain compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expertise in routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, and advanced TCP/IP protocols
- Proven track record with network virtualization (VMware NSX) and SD-WAN implementation
- Strong analytical skills with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent industry certification required
- Experience with Azure/AWS network services and hybrid cloud integration
- Ability to lead projects and mentor junior technicians
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
