Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco and Juniper systems
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools; proactively troubleshoot issues
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network architecture changes and maintain up-to-date configuration records
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integration projects
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical network outages and incidents
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- CCNP or JNCIP certification required; CCIE/JNCIE preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network infrastructure
- Expertise in Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Juniper Junos, and VMware NSX
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible
- Valid CompTIA Security+ certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
