Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco and Juniper systems
- Implement network security protocols (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Lead troubleshooting initiatives for connectivity issues across hybrid environments
- Document network architectures and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/Azure integration projects
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct network audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Certification in CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry-recognized credential
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN protocols
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong analytical skills for complex incident resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
