Responsibilities
- Deploy and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve complex network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven efficiency
- Implement VLAN segmentation and VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Document network topology and configuration changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid architecture integration
- Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Mentor junior technicians through knowledge sharing sessions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network hardware
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Certification in CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent industry-recognized credential
- Proven experience with SD-WAN implementation (Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networks)
- Experience with network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
