Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols (NIST, CIS) to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid network architectures and Azure/AWS integration
- Lead troubleshooting for complex network outages and performance issues
- Document network topology, configurations, and SOPs using Confluence
- Train junior technicians on best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Proven experience with SD-WAN solutions (Palo Alto, Viptela)
- CCNP or equivalent certification required (CCIE preferred)
- Strong knowledge of network security tools (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with network automation using Python/Ansible
- Ability to lift 30lbs for equipment installations
