Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux server environments (Active Directory, VMware, Kubernetes)
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint protection
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with focus on cost optimization and scalability
- Design disaster recovery plans and conduct regular DR testing
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system issues and document technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Windows/Linux environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or Azure Administrator preferred
- Proven experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with CI/CD pipeline experience
