Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive troubleshooter who can bridge the gap between complex server management and user support. You will be responsible for maintaining our critical IT systems, implementing security protocols, and driving technical efficiency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize AWS resources, including EC2, S3, and VPC configurations.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, manage firewalls, and conduct regular security audits.
- Automation: Develop scripts using PowerShell and Python to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Network Administration: Troubleshoot network issues, configure VLANs, and manage switches/routers.
- Active Directory: Manage user accounts, group policies, and identity management systems.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee data backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server and Red Hat/CentOS Linux.
- Cloud Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus.
- Scripting: Solid experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues under pressure.
