Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/NPM tools and resolve outages within SLA
- Implement security protocols (VPN, ACLs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topology and create technical procedures for disaster recovery
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid architecture optimization
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
- Conduct regular audits and compliance assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto/Check Point firewalls
- Proficiency in Python/Ansible for automation
- Valid Hawaii driver's license for occasional site visits
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
