Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize complex LAN/WAN infrastructures including Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba solutions
- Proactively monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to prevent outages
- Lead network migrations, expansions, and security hardening projects
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premises and AWS/Azure environments
- Document network architectures using Visio and maintain configuration management systems
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct periodic network health assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNP or equivalent certification (CCIE preferred)
- Expertise in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching technologies, and network security
- Proficiency with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud networking
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex multi-layered issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Valid California driver's license for occasional client site visits
