Responsibilities
- Install and Configure: Deploy and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues, downtime, and security vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Network Administration: Manage network operations, including VLAN setup, IP addressing, and subnetting.
- Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance to ensure system integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network architecture, configurations, and change logs.
- Support: Provide tier-2 technical support to internal stakeholders and assist junior staff when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or system administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
