Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds/PRTG and resolve outages proactively
- Implement security protocols (VPN, ACLs, firewalls) to protect infrastructure
- Document network changes using Visio/ServiceNow and maintain asset inventory
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and Azure/AWS environments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and escalations
- Lead network optimization projects to enhance performance and redundancy
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise network administration experience
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS configurations
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto/CheckPoint firewalls
- Proficiency in Python/Ansible for automation tasks
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex multi-layer issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
