Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructures including LAN/WAN configurations and cloud integration
- Proactively monitor network performance using advanced tools like SolarWinds and Cisco DNA Center
- Lead security initiatives including firewall management, intrusion detection, and compliance audits
- Document network architecture and create disaster recovery protocols
- Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Resolve escalated network incidents with SLA adherence
- Evaluate and implement emerging networking technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certification
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- CCNP or equivalent certification required; CCIE preferred
- Proven experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional client site visits
