Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
- Perform routine network audits and maintenance to prevent downtime and security breaches.
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement scalable network solutions for enterprise clients.
- Monitor network traffic and analyze data to identify bottlenecks or anomalies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and end-users regarding network issues.
- Manage VLANs, subnets, and IP addressing schemes efficiently.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
- Experience with fiber optics and wireless network infrastructure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
