Responsibilities
- Assist senior network technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform physical cabling tasks including pulling cable, terminating ends, and organizing network infrastructure racks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware and connectivity issues reported by end-users.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for network equipment and supplies.
- Support the setup of new workstations and printers within the office environment.
- Document all work performed and adhere to strict safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical certificates or coursework in IT are a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of how computers connect to networks.
- Strong desire to learn and willingness to undergo technical training.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during cable installations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
