Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy complex Cisco/Juniper enterprise network infrastructures
- Lead network optimization projects including SD-WAN, BGP, and MPLS implementations
- Manage network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust) and compliance frameworks
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical network outages and performance bottlenecks
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct regular technology workshops
Qualifications
- 5+ years enterprise network engineering experience with Cisco/Juniper certifications
- Expertise in routing/switching, VPNs, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
