Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN networks using Cisco and Juniper technologies
- Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Lead network migration projects and infrastructure upgrades while minimizing business disruption
- Document network architecture and create detailed technical documentation for SOPs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives
- Provide Tier 3 support for critical network incidents and coordinate vendor relationships
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network administration with Cisco/Juniper certifications (CCNP/JNCIP required)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and advanced routing protocols
- Strong experience with network virtualization (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in network automation tools (Python, Ansible) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- CCNP Security or equivalent security certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation for critical incidents
