Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish cross-industry partnerships to accelerate innovation adoption
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide future-oriented mindset
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, or space commercialization
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with Delphi methodology and technology adoption lifecycle models
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully commercialized future-oriented projects
