Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput options pricing engines using C++/Python
- Optimize distributed trading systems for microsecond-level latency
- Develop risk management modules for complex derivatives portfolios
- Collaborate with quants to calibrate volatility models and Greeks calculations
- Lead cloud-native deployments on AWS/GCP with Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers on financial systems best practices
- Implement rigorous testing frameworks for regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in low-latency financial software development
- Expert proficiency in C++ and Python with async I/O frameworks
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Strong background in distributed systems (Kafka, gRPC, Redis)
- Experience with cloud-native deployments (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of FINRA/NFA regulations for derivatives trading
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating complex algorithmic trading projects
