Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency systems for equity options pricing, risk modeling, and execution
- Develop microservices architecture handling 10,000+ transactions per second
- Create robust APIs connecting trading platforms with market data feeds
- Optimize algorithms for options Greeks calculations and volatility modeling
- Implement security protocols for sensitive financial data and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Contribute to 24/7 system monitoring and incident response protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in high-frequency trading or financial software development
- Expertise in C++, Java, or Python with multithreading and low-latency optimization
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial, Monte Carlo)
- Proficiency with distributed systems, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with FIX protocol and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations (SOX, MiFID II, SEC rules)
- Track record of shipping mission-critical financial systems in production
