Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will be the bridge between our data infrastructure and business strategy. You will own key performance indicators (KPIs), drive decision-making processes, and build dashboards that visualize complex trends for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Design and develop interactive, intuitive dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to visualize data trends.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, and Operations) to identify key business questions and data needs.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast market trends and user behavior.
- Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual data entry errors.
- Present findings and insights to executive leadership through clear, concise, and compelling presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Science.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (querying, stored procedures, window functions).
- Strong coding skills in Python or R, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Proven experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into business language.
- Must be eligible for relocation assistance to the Dallas, TX area.
