Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling: Design and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all weekend operations.
- Executive Reporting: Generate high-level performance dashboards and weekly reports for C-suite executives, highlighting critical business trends and forecasting.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate data discrepancies and system anomalies to identify root causes and implement long-term preventative solutions.
- Tool Optimization: Continuously improve data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI) to enhance the usability and speed of data access for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to predict market trends and optimize operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate business questions into technical analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using data-driven methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
