What You Will Do:
- Lead the end-to-end analysis of complex datasets to support strategic business initiatives.
- Manage the weekend reporting cycle to ensure stakeholders have timely access to critical performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both Virginia and Minneapolis to define data requirements.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within the data workflow.
- Present findings to senior leadership in a clear, compelling, and non-technical manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data mining and cleaning using SQL and Python.
- Generate weekly and weekend-focused performance reports.
- Partner with the Minneapolis data team to standardize reporting protocols.
- Build scalable data models to support forecasting and trend analysis.
- Communicate complex data insights to non-technical business units.
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines and analytical processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages (Python or R).
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Availability to work a flexible weekend shift schedule.
- Relocation assistance is available for candidates willing to relocate to Minneapolis, MN.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
