As a Senior Data Analyst at NexGen, you will be the bridge between raw data and executive strategy. You will design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualization dashboards that empower our teams to make faster, smarter decisions. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen.
What You Will Do:
- Advanced Data Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis on complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Dashboard Development: Create intuitive, interactive visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write optimized, complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources including SQL databases and cloud warehouses.
- Statistical Modeling: Develop and apply statistical models to predict market trends and optimize operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and propose automation strategies to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support A/B testing and product roadmap decisions.
- Build and maintain automated ETL processes using Python and SQL.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all reporting systems.
- Stay current with industry best practices in data analytics and visualization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Tools: Expert-level knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
