Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to extract data and support ETL processes within our data warehouse.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, analytical methodologies, and findings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to deconstruct complex problems and derive logical solutions from data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to New York, NY (Relocation assistance provided).
