Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations with Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Develop statistical models to forecast policy outcomes and support strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Present findings to senior leadership and government partners with clear, compelling narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control processes
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects addressing urgent client requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government projects
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and Excel
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to non-technical audiences
- Active security clearance preferred or ability to obtain one
