The Role
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle for key business initiatives. You will not just report on what happened; you will predict what is about to happen and influence the direction of the company.
Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain complex database schemas and ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Strategic Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
- Predictive Analytics: Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to forecast market trends and customer behavior.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to define KPIs and measure the impact of product features.
- Data Quality Assurance: Audit data sources to identify anomalies and implement solutions to improve data accuracy.
- Process Optimization: Identify business inefficiencies through data analysis and propose data-driven process improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Visualization: Extensive experience building dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive insights from unstructured data.
