Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Analysis: Design and execute complex analytical studies to support business objectives, identifying key trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop intuitive dashboards and interactive visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Database Management: Utilize SQL to query large datasets, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
- Forecasting & Modeling: Build predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast market trends and support long-term strategic planning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to define KPIs and translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices to maintain a high level of data hygiene.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R. Strong experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Relocation: Must be willing and able to relocate to San Antonio, TX, as we provide full relocation support.
