Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Extract, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical methods and modeling techniques to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns.
- Reporting & Visualization: Design and develop compelling dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data from various databases and manage data pipelines.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and solve business problems.
- Forecasting: Develop predictive models to forecast trends and support strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the technology or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and at least one visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
