Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Gather, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and compelling visual reports using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Management: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data from various sources and ensure data integrity across the database.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and support decision-making processes.
- Trend Forecasting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide predictive analysis to drive strategic planning.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data models, analysis processes, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or night shift setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), or R. Strong knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Tools: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a night shift schedule.
