Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Gather, clean, and prepare large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and compelling visualizations using tools like Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- SQL Development: Write efficient SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Programming: Strong knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive actionable insights.
