Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and operations, to translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Present complex data insights to executive leadership in clear, concise, and compelling formats.
- Optimize data pipelines and SQL queries to improve reporting efficiency and speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar) for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expert level skills in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must reside within the Houston, TX metropolitan area.
