Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify business trends and opportunities.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify inefficiencies in data workflows and propose solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a subject matter expert in data analysis, presenting findings to non-technical audiences effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced queries), Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ETL processes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems through data.
