The Role
As a Night Shift Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our real-time data streams. You will work closely with operations managers to identify trends, predict performance metrics, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize our 24/7 processes.
Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy for nightly reporting cycles.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the night shift team.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify anomalies, seasonal trends, and operational inefficiencies.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting actionable insights derived from nightly data.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to streamline data workflows and improve system performance.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality standards and implement protocols to prevent data entry errors during off-hours.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a 24/7 operational or call center environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (Querying & Optimization), Python or R, and data visualization tools.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into simple, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
