Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods to identify market trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive Tableau dashboards for executive stakeholders, visualizing KPIs and predictive analytics
- Optimize ETL processes for 10TB+ financial datasets, ensuring 99.9% data integrity
- Collaborate with ML engineers to train and validate predictive models for fraud detection
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects responding to urgent business requests during peak hours
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines and analytical methodologies
- Mentor junior analysts through peer review sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with night shift or rotational scheduling
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Proven track record in financial services or e-commerce analytics
- Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and hypothesis testing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies
- Certification in Tableau or AWS Data Analytics (strongly preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail under pressure
