Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate complex datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical analysis, regression testing, and predictive modeling to identify trends and patterns within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and intuitive visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate regular, high-level business intelligence reports that inform executive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, marketing teams, and engineering departments to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
- SQL & ETL: Write complex SQL queries and manage ETL processes to automate data workflows and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or Power BI).
- Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and propose innovative solutions.
