Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Collect, clean, and preprocess large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy.
- Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Power BI to visualize data for stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write optimized SQL queries and scripts to extract data from various databases and systems.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to identify data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data processes and implement solutions to improve workflow and reporting speed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Data Analysis or a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive insights from unstructured data.
- Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data technologies (Spark/Hadoop) is highly desirable.
