Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS or Azure.
- Deployment: Automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Security: Implement robust security protocols, encryption, and identity management (IAM) strategies.
- Optimization: Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and optimize costs and resources.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and software engineering teams to integrate cloud services.
- Scripting: Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, or Go) to improve operational efficiency.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS (or Azure/GCP) services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, load balancers, DNS).
- Tools: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
