Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies for production-level LLM applications
- Collaborate with product teams to define conversational AI requirements and user journey mapping
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and performance optimization for prompt architectures
- Develop reusable prompt libraries and best practice documentation for enterprise clients
- Analyze model outputs and iterate on prompt designs to improve accuracy and relevance
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt engineering methodologies and ethical AI practices
- Stay current with emerging LLM capabilities and integrate new techniques into frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on prompt engineering experience with production LLM deployments
- Proven track record of optimizing GPT-4, Claude, or equivalent model performance
- Expertise in Python and API integration for AI application development
- Strong background in natural language processing and machine learning fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with prompt optimization frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex
