Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Create statistical models to forecast outcomes and support strategic planning initiatives
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations
- Maintain data quality standards and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience with demonstrated impact
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with hypothesis testing
- Experience working with government/public sector data highly advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
