Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures across cloud and on-premise environments
- Lead incident response procedures and conduct forensic analysis for security breaches
- Develop comprehensive risk assessments and mitigation strategies for enterprise systems
- Manage security monitoring tools (SIEM, EDR) and optimize threat detection capabilities
- Conduct regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments
- Mentor junior security staff and stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network and cloud security
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in security frameworks, threat intelligence, and risk management methodologies
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure GCP)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in incident response scenarios
- Proven track record of leading security projects and implementing security controls
