As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing secure architectures, mitigating vulnerabilities, and leading incident response efforts. You will work in a high-impact environment where your expertise directly protects our clients' critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity frameworks to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA regulatory standards.
- Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to anomalies.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to harden cloud environments (AWS/Azure) against zero-day exploits.
- Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or equivalent (Active clearance is a plus).
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering or network security.
- Deep knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python or Bash) for security automation and forensics.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and architecture.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
