Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex cybersecurity infrastructure to protect corporate assets.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate breaches and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain SIEM rules, detection logic, and security automation scripts.
- Enforce compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a senior engineering role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and attack vectors.
