Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and data communication systems.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent future outages.
- Monitor network performance and security using advanced monitoring tools.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and industry security standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or technical support.
- Proficiency in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
