Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect enterprise assets.
- Lead incident response efforts during active security breaches and cyber attacks.
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify weaknesses.
- Oversee compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and regulatory frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Manage and monitor security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security, cryptography, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is a plus.
