Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security architecture and protocols.
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, including forensics and remediation.
- Manage and monitor SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools like Splunk or Sentinel.
- Develop and automate security scripts using Python or Bash to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with security tools: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, and EDR solutions.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Security+.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
